17u Heat - New Leadership, Same Goal!

This season, the 17u Heat have two new coaches working with the group that brought LVC our first medal at the National Championships. Moving to 14u Heat are coaches Pete Jordan and Geoff Cade and in are two of LVCs exciting young coaching talents, Jeff Demeza and Sean McKay.

These guys are playing at a level where physicality starts to become a major factor in individual and team success. Based on our goal competing for the National Championship in May, we have chosen to solely concentrate on creating strong, healthy and balanced volleyball players for the beginning of the club season. Kari and her staff at Empower Conditioning have done a wonderful job of supplementing an already busy highschool season with a strength program that should have our guys playing strong well into the third day in of the tournament in Calgary".

17u Heat return to Alberta this spring, aiming for a third consecutive medal at the National Championships. They kick off their season this Saturday at Supreme Courts here in town! If you are free, head down and support the boys as they begin their drive to the national podium. See you Saturday!
