The Jalen Rodrigues Award Recipient

The Jalen Rodrigues Award was created to honour Jalen's memory and his commitment to giving back to the volleyball community. This award was founded through the generosity of Jalen's teammates on 18U Heat. If LVC needed a hand, Jalen was there. He epitomized our mantra of "love the game" and entered each gym with a smile on his face, eager to play.

We are proud to announce, the first recipient of the Jalen Rodrigues Award is Lilly Briars. Lilly joined LVC through Feed the Fire, played with LVC for four seasons (13U-16U), then entered the coaching world as a Timbit Coach and 14U volunteer Assistant Coach. Like Jalen, Lilly has also epitomized the LVC mantra and could be seen smiling and helping others at LVC Club Days and celebrations.
